Make Their Last Days More Meaningful with Albuquerque Hospice Care

To celebrate National Hospice Care Month, YNN Rochester featured a story of an ailing American woman who held out long enough to meet her newly-born granddaughter mere days before she finally passed away from colon cancer. The meeting wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for the efforts of the hospice care center in Greece where the woman was confined. According to YNN, “It’s estimated that in 2012, a million and a half Americans received some kind of hospice service. Over the last several years, that number has continued to climb.”

As emotional as it is, this story proves the importance of having a reliable hospice care at hand to help a family cope with the inevitable. After all, helping people cope with the death of a loved one is just as difficult as making things as easy as possible for someone who’s about to pass on.
